Master of Business Administration Program in Digital Economics and Management Innovation (International Program)

1. Philosophy, Significance and Objectives of the Curriculum

      1.1 Philosophy

            Create and develop knowledge that keeps pace with digital economy change, using economic thinking bases in business administration with management innovation that integrates science with modern technology for sustainable economic and business development and also being recognized in the international academic community.

 1.2.       Significance

            This International Program in Master of Business Administration in Digital Economics and Management Innovation focuses on human resource development in economics and business administration to raise the bar of modern entrepreneurs. According to the national strategy for building competitiveness, especially in the application of theoretical concepts Quantitative analysis tools, Management of Information Technology and modern business management techniques for research studies and digital use in agricultural development to create value and increase productivity, in both quantitatively and in value. Including variety of agricultural products Industry and service of the future that drive Thailand into a developed country with innovation and technology of the future. Economic development based on modern entrepreneurs.


1.3.     Objectives of the Program

To develop graduates with the following Characteristics.

1.       To be an executive, entrepreneur, academician that can utilize the knowledge in digital economics and management innovation.

2.       To Possess a research development skill, in digital economics and management innovation. Also be able to apply appropriate knowledge for the development of community organization, country, and world society.

3.       To possess morals, ethics, patience and be perseverance to work, as well as being socially responsible

2.1      Education system

Learning and studying activities will be carried out in classroom, both credit and non-credit. Self-study, and community field study, that involves learning outside the classroom

          2.2      Academic credit transfer and enrollment within universities

Transfer of credits and enrollment into the university should be in accordance with the regulations of Maejo University. In terms of graduate studies announced at that period.

GRADUATION CRITERIA

Plan A1

1) Pass a foreign language exam in accordance with the criteria and conditions set by the university.                                                                                             

2) Propose his/her thesis in English and pass the final oral exam by a committee appointed by university. The committee members must consist of lecturers in charge of the program. Including experts from outside the university.            

3) Thesis or part of the thesis must be published or at least be accepted for publication in international journals.

4) Graduation criteria according to the curriculum shall be in accordance with the Ministry of Education.

 

Plan A2.           

1) Complete all courses as specified in the curriculum and must have a minimum grade point average of 3.00 from a 4 -point system or equivalent, and no subject must have received letters I or Op.   

2) Pass the English proficiency examination in accordance with the rules and conditions set by the university.   

3) Propose his/her thesis in English and pass the final oral exam by a committee appointed by university. The committee members must consist of lecturers in charge of the program. Including experts from outside the university.

4) Thesis or part of the thesis must be published or at least accepted for publication in a quality international journal. Academic work or presented to an international academic conference. The full paper presented must be published in a report following an international conference. (proceedings) at least 1 issue

Academic work or presented to an international academic conference. The full paper presented must be published in a report following an international conference. (proceedings) at least 1 issue

Associate Professor Dr.Rapeephun Dangtungee, Dean of the International College, and staff from International College join the 2024 Maejo University Traditional Thai New Year celebration activities in the parade and pouring scented water on the hands of revered Chairman of University Council Board members, administrators, retired and senior professors, alumni and ask for blessing for this new year. Maejo University play an important role in preserving, promoting and transmitting the astrological knowledge and wisdom related to Songkran. Songkran promotes community cooperation, unity and forgiveness. It is viewed as a time to symbolically wash away misfortunes, pray for prosperity for the coming year, reunite with family members, and honour ancestors and older adults.

This year Maejo University International College also won the 3rd prize of Songkran parade (small size institution) and 3rd prize of Lanna Lab (northern ground pork salad).
